Terms of Service

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 Purpose The purpose of these terms is to establish the conditions and procedures for the use of services provided by Online Clinic (hereinafter referred to as "the Clinic"), as well as to define the rights, meanings, and responsibilities of both the Clinic and the users.

Article 2 Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms (1) These terms become effective upon being publicly disclosed to users. (2) The Clinic may amend these terms in case of changes in circumstances or for important business reasons, and the amended terms will become effective in the same manner as stated above.

Article 3 Rules Not Specified in Terms In cases where matters not specified in these terms are regulated by applicable laws, such regulations shall apply.

Chapter 2 Membership Registration and Service Use

Article 1 Definition of Member A member refers to an individual recognized by the Clinic as suitable for membership, who agrees to these terms, completes the membership registration form, and receives an 'ID' and 'password'.

Article 2 Establishment of Service Registration (1) Service registration is established upon the Clinic's acceptance of the user's application and the user's agreement to the terms. (2) Those wishing to register as members must provide personal information requested by the Clinic. (3) Upon acceptance of the user's application, the Clinic will notify the user of their member ID and any other necessary information. (4) The ID entered during registration cannot be changed, and only one ID will be issued per person. (5) The Clinic will not accept applications that fall under the following conditions: a. When the application is made using someone else's name.

b. When the application is not made under the applicant's real name. c. When the application contains false information. d. When the application is made for the purpose of disrupting public order, morals, or social ethics.

Article 3 Service Use and Restrictions (1) Service use is generally available 24 hours a day, year-round, unless there are specific business or technical issues. (2) The service hours may be restricted with prior notice to members for reasons such as regular system maintenance. (3) Online consultations may not be available 24 hours a day depending on the personal circumstances of the responding staff.

Article 4 Service Fees (1) All registered members can use the services free of charge. (2) If the Clinic decides to charge for the services, details about the timing, policies, and costs must be disclosed to users before implementing the charges.

Chapter 3 Withdrawal from Service, Re-registration, and Usage Restrictions

Article 1 Withdrawal from Service (1) If a member wishes to withdraw from the service, they must directly request termination by emailing the operator. (2) Upon withdrawal request, the member must provide their name, ID number, ID, phone number, and reason for termination to verify their identity before processing the withdrawal. (3) A member is considered withdrawn if they cannot log in with their existing ID and password.

Article 2 Re-registration for Service (1) A user who has withdrawn from the service may re-register by directly emailing the operator. (2) When requesting re-registration, they must provide their name, ID number, ID, and phone number for processing. (3) Re-registration is completed when the user can log in with their existing ID and password.

Article 3 Restrictions on Service Use The Clinic may terminate the service contract or restrict service use for a specified period

without prior notice if a member engages in the following actions: a. Actions against public order or morals. b. Involvement in criminal activities. c. Planning or executing service use to harm national interests or social welfare. d. Impersonating another person's ID and password. e. Damaging another person's reputation or causing disadvantage. f. Double registration under different IDs by the same user. g. Actions that undermine proper use of the service. h. Other violations of applicable laws or the conditions set by the Clinic.

Chapter 4 Limitation of Responsibility Regarding Services

Article 1 Online Consultation (1) The Clinic strives to maintain security to ensure that the consultation contents of its members or users are not disclosed to third parties, except for the consulting physician and service manager. However, the Clinic is not responsible for any disclosure or loss of consultation content in the following cases: a. If the user's negligence leads to the disclosure of their password and consultation content. b. If the user deletes the consultation using the 'delete' function. c. If consultation content is disclosed or lost due to natural disasters or other uncontrollable situations. (2) To provide comprehensive and appropriate responses to consultations, staff may refer to the consultation content and responses. (3) The contents of consultations conducted through the service may be used for the following purposes after personal information has been removed: a. Academic activities. b. Publication activities such as print media or CD-ROMs. c. Portions of service content like FAQs or recommended consultations. (4) Responses to consultations are subjective answers based on the knowledge of the respective staff and do not represent the Clinic's official opinions. (5) The Clinic may not provide all or part of online consultations if the following cases occur: a. If the same consultation is repeatedly requested. b. If the user uses nonsensical expressions when requesting consultations.

Article 2 Information Service

(1) The information provided by the service is general and intended solely for informational purposes. Information or consultations provided by the service cannot replace medical diagnosis. They are not intended to substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care. If a member has questions or concerns about their health status, they should seek a professional diagnosis from an actual physician. Under no circumstances should the information provided by the service lead to disregarding a physician's diagnosis or delaying treatment. (2) The Clinic does not endorse any specific tests, products, or treatments mentioned in the service. Opinions expressed in the service are those of the consulting physicians. The Clinic assumes no responsibility for any documents or content provided through the service. (3) Acceptance of information from the service, opinions from participating physicians, or other users is entirely at the user's discretion. Therefore, the Clinic is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or disadvantages resulting from the use of any products, information, ideas, or instructions provided to members.

Chapter 5 Obligations

Article 1 Obligations of the Clinic (1) The Clinic will ensure that members can use the services unless special circumstances arise. (2) The Clinic is obligated to provide services continuously and reliably as stipulated in these terms. (3) The Clinic will process opinions raised by members through prescribed procedures and inform members of the reasons and processing timelines if it takes a certain period to address them.

Article 2 Obligation of Security for Member Information (1) Members are responsible for managing their IDs and passwords. (2) Members agree to receive emails sent as part of the service. (3) If a member's ID is used improperly, they must notify the Clinic immediately. (4) The Clinic will not sell or provide personally identifiable information to third parties without prior consent. However, the Clinic may use voluntarily provided registered information in the following cases: a. To provide developers with information necessary for developing new features, information, or services beneficial to members. b. To provide advertisers with statistical (never personally identifiable) information about

service members and users. c. To conduct advertisements or services according to member and user preferences. (5) Personal information (such as usernames, IDs, email addresses) may be voluntarily disclosed in communication spaces like forums. In such cases, this information may be collected, correlated, and used by third parties, leading to unwanted messages from them. The Clinic cannot control such actions by third parties. Therefore, the Clinic does not guarantee against the discovery of member information through uncontrollable methods. (6) The Clinic may use cookie technology for the convenience of service usage. Cookies are small text files used by websites to recognize returning users and assist in their continued access and personalized service. Generally, cookies operate by assigning a unique number that has no meaning outside the site that issued it. Cookies do not invade the user's system and pose no risk to their files. The Clinic cannot prevent advertisers or related third parties from using cookies. If members or users do not wish to allow information collection through cookies, they can adjust their web browser settings regarding cookies. However, the use of cookies may be necessary for the proper functioning of the service, especially personalized information. (7) The Clinic may mutually provide/use members' information between the service and its business partners.

Chapter 6 Dispute Resolution (1) Disputes arising from service use that are not stipulated in these terms should be resolved through mutual agreement as much as possible. (2) For disputes arising from service use that result in litigation, the court with jurisdiction over the Clinic's location shall be the competent court.

Supplementary Provisions These terms take effect on July 22, 2024.
